Waringarri Arts

Established in the 1980s, in the heart of Miriwoong country at Kununurra in the Kimberley region of northern Australia, Waringarri was the first wholly Aboriginal-owned art centre established in Western Australia.

The centre operates artists’ studios and galleries and supports more than 100 artists as painters, printmakers, wood carvers, boab engravers, sculptors and textile artists.
